        Comments about Felco Pruners:

These are the best pruners I have ever owned. They are easy to open and lock and are the perfect fit for my smaller sized hand. So far, I have used them to trim bushes and tree branches and for spring cleanup. The price is higher than what you would pay at a big box store, but the quality is much better. I expect these to last for years.

I bought this for my birthday. I like the smaller size of the no 6. It is perfect for my small hand. I think Felcro makes the very best pruners and I have always wanted one.

                      Comments about Felco Pruners:

They probably work just fine like most of Gardener's supply materials; however, you can't open them. There is a screw that has to be unscrewed with a screw driver in order to open them and neither I nor my husband could unscrew it. It was probably initially put on with a machine. We are not as strong as a machine. I suggest that Gardener's unscrew it before shipping or ask Felco to correct the problem.

I recommend every gardener own a pair of Felco pruners. They are smooth and very comfortable. A bit more expensive than Fiskars...but definitely a grade or two better in quality and performance. Worth the extra $.
