Pros
Cons

Comments about Felco Pruners:
They probably work just fine like most of Gardener's supply materials; however, you can't open them. There is a screw that has to be unscrewed with a screw driver in order to open them and neither I nor my husband could unscrew it. It was probably initially put on with a machine. We are not as strong as a machine. I suggest that Gardener's unscrew it before shipping or ask Felco to correct the problem.

Comments about Felco Pruners:
I recommend every gardener own a pair of Felco pruners. They are smooth and very comfortable. A bit more expensive than Fiskars...but definitely a grade or two better in quality and performance. Worth the extra $.

Comments about Felco Pruners:
I bought these for my husband. I use the Florian Ratchet pruners. ( I have very weak hands). My husband LOVES these! We will never buy anything else. Sure, they aren't cheap, but THEY AREN'T CHEAP! They get the job done on large branches with none of the typical wrenching, pulling, twisting of bad pruners. Easy to clean, easy to keep operating smoothly. If u have 1 tree or 17 trees and 12 bushes and 5 vines like us, you'll be so very happy with these!!

Comments about Felco Pruners:
As a woman with small hands the #2 pruners fit perfectly and are not too heavy

Pruning is a perfect chore for late-winter and early spring because most trees and shrubs are dormant. What's more, it's the time of year when there are few gardening tasks on your list.
