Comments about Faux Bamboo, Set of 12:
These are really nice, strong, simulated bamboo poles. I'm using them to support a deer fence around my raised beds. These along with the clips that go with them make this really versatile and attractive. My only wish is that they come a longer longer than the 59".

Comments about Faux Bamboo, Set of 12:
I've used these to put around raised bed veggie gardens. I attach the heavier deer fence by weaving the bamboo through the fencing & place at the raised bed corners to keep the deer out. They still sometimes jump over, but it's a deterent. These last longer than the regular bamboo.

Comments about Faux Bamboo, Set of 12:
The faux bamboo poles seem to be very sturdy and should last a long time. I've had them in my garden since spring and the many months of weather changes haven't done a thing to them. However, I've found their usefulness somewhat limited. I have used them for a bean teepee, but the pole bean vines do not like these poles at all. They will clime my regular bamboo poles, but it is almost impossible to get them to hold onto the faux bamboo. I suspect it is a combination of the finish being very slick (hard to grip) and the diameter of the poles being so large. One or two vines have managed to take hold of these poles, but the rest just slide off and would rather hang over the edge of the planter, no matter how many times I try to train them up these poles. As simple support poles for other garden uses, they are fine, but they do not seem useful for climbing plants.

These are ok, but I do not like how they look when cut. Also would look nicer if theu were thinner.

I grow BlackBerries for sale at Farmer's Markets. I use these to build temporary support of anti-bird netting. easy to put up and take down as necessary. The right height and last far longer than regular bamboo and less expensive than wood or metal poles

I set these faux bamboo stakes up in minutes with the connectors (sold separately) to support bird netting over my blueberry bushes. Works great and looks great. I also used a few extra to support my tomoates in large containers. I am sure I will find other uses. These are durable, attractive and easy on the wallet

Comments about Faux Bamboo, Set of 12:
Love the faux bamboo poles. Unless you plan to use them to make an arbor, they are not very versatile when used with the clips. To make other structures, they really need to be offered in various sizes. I am using them around tomato plants in pots. Circling the pots and using twine with it. Also using to brace rose bushes, looks nice and very effective. If you wanted to make a trellis with them and the clips you would need the whole set, probably two.
