I don't care how black your thumb is, you have to try to fail with these.
I ordered them for my daughter's grade school, and they could not be easier to use. Unlike peat pots, each cell is evenly watered and there is no mess. The planting tray could have been reused at least once (it is supposed to degrade in landfills, but it was very sturdy after we grew nasturtium seeds in them), but they were very easy to cut up so all the kids could take home a seedling.
The trays and pad are easy to clean and store. I ordered some extra trays and coir seed starting mix, so they are ready to go for next year. There are cheaper ways to start seeds, but if you want 72 perfect seedling over and over again, skip the expensive lightbulbs and buy these trays.
The only way they could make this better is if the coir block was pre-divided into three pieces.

Used it for seedstarting under grow lights and had great results. My plants are just in the four leaf stage, so not sure if the coir mix will provide enough for further growth. Will wait and see.

I used this product for starting my own tomato plants from my own seeds. The kit had everything needed to plant my tomato seeds. The seeds germinated within 8-10 day and produced large and healthy and dark green plants ready for my garden in 8 weeks.
