These little filters do make a big difference in controling the odor from the compost pail. Works great but I do not compost the filter after use...takes to long to break down.

Well, this lowly little set of extra charcoal filters keeps all the various bits in my single woman's compost pail free of the "ewwww" factor before I trot it outside to the compost bin. No frills here. They do the job. And that is a very good thing!

Put all kitchen scraps & coffee grounds in container - dump in compost pile when full (weekly). Works great!

Have been composting for many years and have not found a better system to contain the odors.

This product lives under my kitchen sink in my composting pot and there is no odor.

Filters for compost bucket need replacing @ month. I allow bucket to fill 3/4 before emptying. They work just fine for that month, after that I can smell them in the kitchen when I come in from outside. Since I don't have a different kind of compost bucket, I expect I will continue to purchase them. [...]

No smell and we are taking the kitchen compost out every 10 days to 2 weeks!!!

These filters are so good that I often forget to replace them every 3 months. I think the supply of them will outlast my bin which now has a small crack in it - and the bin is 5 years old!
