Everybody loves fresh peas from the garden, but supporting them with poles, twine and netting can be a hassle. Our sturdy, zinc-plated steel pea fences are an easy solution. Each fence has four hinged panels with big 8" grids. Simply zigzag the fence sections along your garden row and push them into the ground (add a support stake on each end in windy locations). Great for tomatoes as well as cucumbers and other vining crops.

Comments about Expandable Pea Fences:
In my 55 plus years of gardening, I never knew peas could grow over five feet tall! I reached up to pick the peas.
My space is limited, so my garden is up next to the house on my city lot. This fence made my garden look attractive.
My Sister-in-Law was so envious we bought her one for her next birthday.

Comments about Expandable Pea Fences:
I did not know peas could grow so high. They were over five feet high. My garden looked attractive on my city lot and I did not have to bend over to pick my peas for the first time in my 70 year life.
My space is limited, so my garden is next to the house. Picking peas on the house side of the fence was not easy. My sister-in-law was envious when she saw my peas so we bought her a pea fence for her next birthday.

Comments about Expandable Pea Fences:
I just ordered this fence for next season, but I've used other Gardener's Supply supports and this appears to be equally well made. I'm confident it will do the job.

Comments about Expandable Pea Fences:
I received my pea fence and immediately stored it for next spring's peas. So all I can say is that it seems fairly sturdy and stores easy.

Comments about Expandable Pea Fences:
These are great for the taller pea varieties. They work best used in pairs, side by side, with the peas planted between them, to keep everything from tipping over. Even then, you may need to brace things with a few bamboo poles. Worth it, tho, to be able to grow the tall peas in a free standing situation. Always lift or push in using the vertical rods, not the cross bars.

Comments about Expandable Pea Fences:
These are perfect for peas. I use them year after year, problem solved. Two points - always push down or lift up on the verticals, the horizontal bars will pop loose with too much pressure. Also, the ends that go into the dirt do corrode, but 5 years later are still sound. Useful for cucumbers or tomatoes too, anything tall and floppy.
