I received my pea fence and immediately stored it for next spring's peas. So all I can say is that it seems fairly sturdy and stores easy.

These are great for the taller pea varieties. They work best used in pairs, side by side, with the peas planted between them, to keep everything from tipping over. Even then, you may need to brace things with a few bamboo poles. Worth it, tho, to be able to grow the tall peas in a free standing situation. Always lift or push in using the vertical rods, not the cross bars.

These are perfect for peas. I use them year after year, problem solved. Two points - always push down or lift up on the verticals, the horizontal bars will pop loose with too much pressure. Also, the ends that go into the dirt do corrode, but 5 years later are still sound. Useful for cucumbers or tomatoes too, anything tall and floppy.
