I took the package apart and thought--"how flimsy" and could NOT get it to go into the ground--THEN I tried putting the sections (2 or 3) sections together and then putting them into the ground. When I tried to do one section and slide it into first one already in ground--it did NOT work!
I also found that if I took my sod shovel (straight sharp edge) and cut a path for the fence it made it much easier.
I used the rubber hammer they say to use but had to cut a path to help it go in.
ONCE installed--it "made" the garden (straight line across the front of house impatients planted behind it) come together! Looks great.
For the price--it's really good but will not take rough handling or running over with lawn mower! NOT rugged at all. Just for looks.

The prongs on this are useless. I had to make holes first before pushing the product in. Have only used a few since they are so difficult to install. Will not buy again.

I needed a small border with holes to go at the bottom of my privacy fence to allow for drainage but hold in the mulch and these works great. The only problem I have is keeping them in the ground since the soil is hard clay.

Install is easy if you use a very large Phillips Head screwdriver to make holes to slide stakes into. It's still a bit flimsy so I pounded in a 10 inch long aluminum stake placed in the center of each pannel and zip tied them together for reinforcement (my area gets heavy rain run off). Result is inexpensive, sturdy and looks okay for the price.

I took out the old metal edging and then easily
pounded the new decorative edging into the same place. Took less than an hour.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Love the look of this edging but I broke several while pounding in with the rubber hammer. I also had a time with the corner treatments and never could get them to go together correctly so just planted flowers to cover. I have extra so will keep using, probably would not buy again.

AM TRYING TO SEPARATE A "PLANNED GARDEN AREA" FROM THE WOODS I LIVE IN. THE POUND IN EDGING IS JUST THE THING! I MAINTAIN THE BEAUTY OF THE WOODS BUT AM KEEPING IT SEPARATED BY THE ATTRACTIVE EDGE.

Was not as easy to use as I thought. It was somewhat hard to keep the edging even as I assembled them. My original use was to edge a new garden area, but I've decided to save them for another area with softer soil. I am in hopes that they will install easier there.
