It was hilarious watching the squirrels trying to figure this feeder out. They tried everything. After about a week they gave up, and now settle for ground-feeding.

I like this feeder for its size and ease of use. But in the future they should consider designing the cover a little broader--with more overhang to protect the seed from driving rain. When the seed is wet: a.) the birds won't eat it and b.) it doesn't flow well. Also the feed 'holes' are a little small, so that when trying to clear the wet seed out, it is difficult to get to.
Functions according to design when dry...
Needs a little design improvement and then it will be perfect!
