Comments about Earthworm Eggs:
I bought the earthworm eggs for a wonderful friend who had helped me in my garden when I wasn't able to do the work. Her dirt is horrible clay, and she was complaining that she had been digging up a dead plant and hadn't seen one worm. When I saw these earthworm eggs, I immediately ordered them, presented them to her in a bright purple trug and you would have thought I gave her a million dollars! She was so thrilled, spent the weekend carefully spreading her earthworm eggs out over her flower beds. I can't wait to hear next year how her worm population is...this is a true gardeners gift!!

Comments about Earthworm Eggs:
They arived still moist. Put them into my garden beds the next day. After a month I was amazed at the new worms I had. Just the thing for clay based heavy composted beds. I expect the worms by next year to have to worked their magic on the clay. Very pleased.

Comments about Earthworm Eggs:
I put the eggs in my raised beds and kept them watered. I do not see any worms at all, 4 weeks after "planting" them. Not sure if any hatched or grew.

Comments about Earthworm Eggs:
Our raised planters in the school yard have lovely soil, but needed to be richer and required additional nutrients. We purchased earth worm eggs (who knew?) and sprinkled them in various planters. Now, a few weeks later, there are worms in our beds...and we know because the students keep finding them when they plant in the garden. Wormy fun! And lovely soil!

Comments about Earthworm Eggs:
I haven't been gardening long, but I was very happy to find that I could order red wigglers from Gardeners. Call me silly, call me odd, but I think worms are the coolest life form, and I am very happy to have added 3000 eggs to my garden and yard!

Comments about Earthworm Eggs:
I purchased these last year and disbursed them according to the instructions. I didn't see any earthworms or real change.
However, this year has been a different story. The first rain came and I saw earthworms everywhere, where the previous year, there hadn't been hardly any at all. The majority were all about the same size indicating a similar age.
I am looking forward to seeing the changes in the soil this year.

Comments about Earthworm Eggs:
When we moved to Texas it didn't take me long to realize the soil here is like lake-bottom muck; not conducive to growing much of anything well. I built raised garden beds and filled them with good soil and compost. The crowning touch was to introduce earthworms for all the good they do in a garden. The earthworm eggs product from Gardener's Supply seemed a good value my dollar - 1500 eggs that will generate 4500 to 6000 earthworms within a three month period of time. I didn't "plant" the eggs as soon as they arrived and feared that they'd lose their vitality. When I did "plant" them in my garden (October), I saw a number of baby earthworms squirm their way into the soil. I was truly delighted. I hope they like my vegetable and flower beds and thrive in their new home. I hope to see a good community of worms in my garden as I put in my spring garden.

Comments about Earthworm Eggs:
Great product. Eggs hatched and many small worms found in corners of the garden bed as instructions indicated would happen. Hope to purchase more in the future in hopes of cutting my costs for yearly truck loads of compost.
