My front yard is not level, and a lovely pyramidal trellis with a very fast-growing clematis kept toppling when it became top-heavy. Even when I persistently transferred the new tendrils lower on the trellis, it was quite unstable. After seeing this fall down hourly in even light winds I ordered the extra-tall earth staples, put in 2 to 3 on each of the 4 sides of the base and it has been able to withstand every wind, even a hurricane. Earth Discs make removing staples so much easier for my arthritic hands. I use them to hold the netting and the plant cover over my garden.

I'm a big fan of Halloween and have a fairly sizable display of headstones and other things for a front yard cemetery. The staples are perfect for holding down those light styrofoam items that could get knocked over in the wind or keeping more expensive decorations from rolling all over the yard.
