we have a sprinkler attached to one and a drip system to the other, because of the heat of the day it is set to go off early (while we are still sleeping)

I use drip irrigation and sometimnes forget to turn it off. This prevents water from running all night as well as damage to my crops.

              Comments about EZ Water Timer:

I bought this for a client to replace a returned leaking and broken Orbit timer that she hated. EZ Timer is made of durable materials, has a close fitting hinged cover for controls, and fits like a garden hose. She raves about the easy to use 2 dials and 1 button.

                Comments about EZ Water Timer:

if the product was reliable,it would be a wonderful gardening tool. The dirctionals are self-explanatory, but it is difficult to line up to hose threads, therefore it leaks. But it is operational at random, sometimes it turns on as directed, sometimes not.

                Comments about EZ Water Timer:

Have three; each does a special job: new trees, fern beds, perennial beds. Reliable (never had a failure). Easy to test; easy to trigger an additional cycle of watering.

The only unacceptable aspect is that you have to disconnect the battery (9v) to set a new time to start watering. A simple switch could do that and avoid the battery manipulation.
