this is the second one i got from this manufacture. the first one lasted 3 years. if you have bought them before you just know that others just don't last so this is way above the others. i had one that lasted for 4 weeks, not this manufacture. i'm hoping that this one lasts as long as the last one. i'm very happy so far. i use it to keep the water level up in my pond that has a lot of area for evaporation. so mine is used 365 days a year and as many times as they will let it go on in a day. mine is used a lot. i would say i give it a real work out. love this one.

We're using this product to control water to a soaker hose that's irrigating a tomato patch. The product was easy to set up and use. I especially like the delay start feature. We run it once a day for three hours. The only thing I would like to see improved is more variability on the duration times.

Five controllers provide daily watering to shrubs/trees/garden. Two problems: 1) Dead batteries: change once a year. 2)Leaks on high pressure side - city pressure >110 psi; replace with brass fitting.

We use the timer for drip irrigatrion of containers and a raised straw bale garden. Timer is set for 15 min. of water every 12 hours. Works flawlessly.

This product has been in use in my brand new landscaped garden in the front of my house.

The reason I am still on the fence is because one day I came home from work and the timer was running water through my soaker hose line. In the morning I set the duration to 30 minutes and the cycle to 3 days and hit START that morning...when I came home, it was either still running, all day, or had started again in the late afternoon, in either case the timer clearly did not recognize 1 of the 2 settings.

Well it would have been great if they both worked. One works so good and the other one only works when it wants to. Now after spending all the time and money to fix our garden, I need a reliable product to take care of it,while I am on vacation. I wish [...] they tested these things before selling them. So for me it is buyer beware you might get one that doesn't work like it is suppose to and you might get one that works flawlessly.

we have a sprinkler attached to one and a drip system to the other, because of the heat of the day it is set to go off early (while we are still sleeping)

I am recommending it for every one who uses a drip system. It is the most reliable, tough, and easy to control timer on the market.

I use drip irrigation and sometimnes forget to turn it off. This prevents water from running all night as well as damage to my crops.
