Exclusive | Dual-Batch Compost Tumbler Has Two Rotating Bins
- VIDEO: Dual-Batch Compost Tumbler
- Produce high quality compost quickly and efficiently
- Let one bin "cook" while you add fresh materials to the other side
- Two bins rotate separately; each bin holds approximately 3 cubic feet
Batch composting is the fastest and most efficient way to produce high quality compost, and this dual bin tumbler makes it easy. Fill one side with kitchen scraps and yard waste, then stop adding materials and let it "cook," turning it every few days to speed up the decomposition process. In the meantime, add new scraps to the other side. When the first batch of compost is finished, remove it and repeat the process, letting the other side cook.

- 28-1/2" W x 25" D x 37-1/4" H overall
- Each bin holds approx. 3 cubic feet (22 dry gallons)
- Assembly required; easiest with 2 people

Comments about Dual-Batch Compost Tumbler:
One hole did not line up for assembly; had to ask someone to help me; did not know if it was me or the way the hole was drilled. Person said it was not me and he redrilled a hole; could not have done that by myself. I like the idea of the twin tumblers; have not had it long enough to get any results yet. Like the idea that I am using my waste to create something good.

Comments about Dual-Batch Compost Tumbler:
Am enjoying it, haven't yet had finished compost.
One problem: the unit arrived intact, however, the box was broken, a piece of the base was through the box and was taped. the top of the box was held together with tape as well - a very poor packing job!!!
Assembly directions could have been clearer.

Comments about Dual-Batch Compost Tumbler:
My wife and I use the Dual-Batch Tumbler Composter for kitchen scraps and yard/garden material (grass clippings, leaves, garden material). The product was easy to assemble, creates usable compost quickly, and has been a positive addition to our yard and garden. We read the reviews, added the screens over the holes, and this has worked very well. We are very pleased and would recommed this product. I think this product is a plus for the environment and helps to keep life simple.

Comments about Dual-Batch Compost Tumbler:
My grow box is in a confined space close to our door, so I needed a small composter. This one is fun to spin as it mixes the materials. Since I also apply compost-maker to heat it up, from start to finish, it smells like a forest in there!

- Sturdy
Cons
Best Uses
- Coffee Grounds
- Fruit Rinds

Comments about Dual-Batch Compost Tumbler:
My thirteen year old daughter assembled the composter with help from me in the last stage of lifting it onto the frame. Having said that, it took two tries for assembly. Half hour total. There are two left and two right legs. They look alike. Apparently they were marked "cc" and"dd" to distinguish. Putting a left and right on the same side yielded a composter that wouldn't turn. So she reassembled. Tumbles nicely now. Looking forward to transferring contents of our pile to the tumblers.

Comments about Dual-Batch Compost Tumbler:
This unit is much easier to use than the ones that sit on the ground. I've only had it a few weeks and it is composing pretty quickly. I do need to add water once in a while. There are drain holes in the bottom so I collect the excess water and use it for my plants they love it. I'm also able to add things I never composed before like paper and cardboard. Since it's easy to turn the items break down quickly. Having two buckets is great. I just started the second bucket. The first bucket should be done soon.
Pros
- So easy to use
Cons
Best Uses
- Coffee Grounds
- Fruit Rinds
- Kitchen Scraps
Comments about Dual-Batch Compost Tumbler:
I have tried several approaches to composting and this is THE best ever! My husband and I are avid gardeners and he is not a compost fan but did assemble for me -even glued little screens to holes from the inside before we used. My ultimate skeptic though... All the reviews were most helpful. We've had it for two months and absolutely love it! Both of us use now - placed conveniently to kitchen for all my composting treasures and to his yard for pruned snips. As a nurse, I was concerned about foul odors but have not had that problem at all. Twirled daily by us as well as our grandchildren!! GREAT
