We have ordered 6 sets in previous years. The dragonflies swayed gracefully on flexible supports. The solar collector was separate so it could be placed in the sun and the dragonflies in the shade. This year the supports are very stiff - no swaying. And the collector is on the support. Just like the ones at department stores but at a higher price. It's a shame. The product was special in previous years. It is not anymore.

I received a set of these as a gift on Christmas 2011. I did not put them out until Spring of 2012. They worked beautifully for that summer and looked great around my garden pond. They were stored over the winter and placed out again this spring ~ they no longer work. I purchased new batteries and they still don't work. I really liked the look and am very disappointed. This was the older version with 1 solar panel for the 3 lights. I am wondering if the old style was defective as the design was changed.

The dragon fly yard lights (solar) are well made and durable. They add a lot of cheer and whimsy to my yard at night and in the early morning. The re-chargeable batteries that came with it didn't work for long at all (one of them not at all) but Gardener's Supply kindly reimbursed me to purchase batteries on my own. Terrific customer service!
