Comments about Downspout Diverter:
Was easy to install you just need the right tools. Only problem is keeping debrie out that comes down the gutter. Trying to figure out the best way of doing that with out taking the downspout apart to clean it.

Comments about Downspout Diverter:
I have four rain barrels stacked next to my garage and I was able to fill them all in no time after hooking up the diverter. It was easy to install, however it came with a hole drilled in the bottom of the basket that I had to seal up. I will be contacting customer service to see why but it made no since why there was a hole in this location...

Comments about Downspout Diverter:
This thing looked great in the literature but when I installed it for my rain barrels I found some major flaws. First the installation was difficult to say the least. I am a pro handyman and had issues getting this thing installed. The mounting holes were all but inaccessible and getting it to the right level with my rain barrel's inlet was quite a chore. I also realized that come late fall I have to disassemble this thing so my rain barrels do not fill and freeze. All in all not worth the money.
Pros
- Conserves Water
- Easy To Use
- Looks good
- Pretty Easy To Install
- Weather Resistant
- Works well

Comments about Downspout Diverter:
Downspout butts up against diverter and does not fit snugly in a sleeve. That's not really a problem but I needed to secure the downspout to the house siding and had to rig up a strap with thin aluminum sheet metal and sheet metal screws. But the diverter looks good and works well and I'm quite pleased with it.
Pros
- Convenient
- Easy To Use
- Precise Spout
- Unobtrusive
- Weather Resistant
Cons
Best Uses
- Outdoor Garden
- Rain Barrels
Comments about Downspout Diverter:
This diverter makes it easy to uninstall a rain barrel for winter storage, and very effectively keeps mosquitoes out. It is also great around children because you don't need a large opening in the top for the downspout to let water in. The new white color blends in with the downspouts much better than the green.
Pros

- Easy To Use
Cons
- Need Hole On Other Side
Best Uses

Comments about Downspout Diverter:
I have used this downspout diverter for a year and it works well. Also installed one for my relative. Works great. Would appreciate an exit hole on the opposite side and a gomet to close off whatever side is not used.

Comments about Downspout Diverter:
After I sealed the existing hose hole and made one on the other side, I was able to connect it to my rain barrel. Expensive for a simple metal box and a bit of pipe that one could make on one's own..but not everyone is a tinkerer.

Comments about Downspout Diverter:
I LOVE this gadget! I bought one after my neighbor got one to hook up his rain barrel and I saw how it worked. Clever easy design of quality construction and good instructions for installation. Works best if 2 people install together ...you'll need the extra hands to hold everything in place while setting it up properly. No way does it leak if you have installed it correctly, even in heavy rains. And it is easy to disconnect your rain barrel to winterize when the time comes, unlike if you have more of a permanent set up of your downspout going directly into your barrel. This was one of the main reasons I purchased it. I've been using it all summer and so far I can't think of one thing about it that needs improving!
