Comments about Downspout Diverter:
In looking at all available diverters, I chose this one and I am pleased with the construction and ease of install. It is newly installed and I am anxious to see how it works when the rain comes.

Comments about Downspout Diverter:
I installed two of these to divert downspout water to a garden pond. I observed during a rain event that there was not much flow coming from either. I also observed considerable water bypassing it and going into the tile drain (there was a gap so I could see. Another downspout diverted directly into the pond w/ 4" corrugated pipe had easily 10X the flow with same roof area. Bottom line - these are very inefficient.

Comments about Downspout Diverter:
The first one I bought was GREEN. WHO has GREEN DOWN SPOUTS???? Anyway, later they came out in "white" (makes sense to me!) and I got the white one to go along with my SECOND rainbarrel. The diverter is a MUST HAVE with the rainbarrels. I'd REALLY recommend them-ESPECIALLY if you have GREEN downspouts. For those of us "regular" people, go with the white ones!

Comments about Downspout Diverter:
I was so pleased because a day or so after my husband installed diverter we had rain that filled the barrel. Now I need to buy another rain barrel!

Comments about Downspout Diverter:
I have a downspout nestled tightly next to my city house, so I want well directed water transfer into the rain barrel. This does it. I had a contractor install it - easy for him. Can't comment as a do-it-yourself doer.

Comments about Downspout Diverter:
This is an ingenious device that's easy to install. The tube hole is on the opposite side from the rain barrel which makes for a longer run of tubing which I had to tie up for support. A consideration for design change: put a punch-out hole on each side (like an electric box).
