The Deluxe Tractor Scoot is Now Better Than Ever — Thanks to You!
Our back-saving Tractor Scoot lets you work from a seated position virtually anywhere in your yard or garden. Now, thanks to your input, we’ve made this customer favorite even more comfortable and easier to use. First, we added a longer handle so you can pull the Scoot behind you like a wagon. When retracted, the handle locks upright to make a sturdy handhold. We also lowered the swiveling, tractor-style seat by 3-1/2" to give you better access when planting and harvesting, and the seat now adjusts from 16" to 19" high, to suit your body and the task at hand. Lastly, we increased the weight capacity of the 1" tubular steel frame to 400 pounds. Hefty, pneumatic tires ensure a smooth, stable ride.

I got this for my husband who is tall and often complains that having to bend over to do a lot of work around the outside bothers his back. The scoot is also great for working on/cleaning vehicles, tinkering around the garage when you need a comfortable place to sit and keep tools handy.

I found this product very helpful to me. It allowed me a much longer down time. That is "down on the ground area where all the weeds are". My back and knees didn't hurt when I was done and I finished all my weeding. Amazing this little scoot!

I needed a sturdy but functional seat to use when I garden due to knee pain and this seems to fit the bill. I also am over 325 pounds and it appears to be handling my weight better than others I've tried.
Cons:
The handle can be unwieldy and difficult to "unlock" and lengthen. I suspect it is something that will improve over time (and WD-40). It also has caught my pants pocket several times causing issues with me standing up.
The tires STINK! Even after sitting outside for 3 months the tires still smell badly and give me a headache. This is a disappointment.

Have not got to use as much as I would have like outside before reviewing (bad weather). It works well inside too. Makes washing lower kitchen cabinets and window a breeze! I might buy a second one just for in the house. When you get to your senior years anything that helps with the tired old body parts is worth a second one. Planting seeds and cuttings in the greenhouse was a true pleasure, no bending or getting up and down out of a chair. You just set the seed tray on your lap and scoot yourself and seeds to the shelf. I really can't say anything bad about it, I LOVE IT!!!!

This is my second scoot...I just had to get one for my 80 year old Mom who still loves to garden. Gee, I guess that's where I get it from. One word of caution. Keep covered, there has been a little bit of rust around the nuts and bolts.

This was a gift for my 78 year active mom. It reminds us of the John Deere tractors that she grew up with on the farm. The "lightweight" assessment is relative to the sturdy construction and ease of handling.Because of her height, weight, and age this allows her more quality time outside while still getting the work done.

I am handicapped and have a raised garden my son built me. With my tractor and my retractable tools I can reach the plants for cultivation and transplanting. I don't have to bend, twist, and strain my back our of shape. I wish summer would hurry up and get here... P.S. My grandson loves it, too.
