Great replacement for an improvised compost bin. I had very little trouble assembling it, and it makes my yard look a lot neater. I am going to really appreciate the doors at bottom to remove the finished compost.

This sounded like a great idea, but we've been very disappointed in its performance. It's flimsy, as in the front slider/door won't stay on its tracks once the bin is filled (bulges out and pops the door off its too-shallow grooves), and a squirrel ate a hole through the lid quite easily in a few hours. So much for paying extra for the rodent screen on bottom. It composts s-l-o-w-l-y compared to a more shallow pile that can be easily aerated. Might be fine for leaves and grass clippings, but not for a kitchen/yard compost bin.

I liked this composter so much I bought another one. Assembly of the first one went easily but I had a lot of trouble getting the lid on the second one. Once it's together it works very well. It keeps the raccoons and rodents out of the kitchen scraps and I can hardly keep it full, composting goes so quickly in warm weather.

This is an attractive and well-built composter. However, it is best used against a wall or building; when free-standing, the open lid can shut hard when you're adding waste, hurting your hand!

I bought a composter from you (16 or so years ago)and it finally bit the big one. This one is so much stronger and since its lid is attached, so much easier to use. I'm pushing 70 so ease of operation is a real consideration.

I was able to place this at the bottom of my porch steps and it is not noticeable, but very handy, especially in the winter, when I cannot trek through the snow to my open compost pile on the other side of my property.

found the exact composter for $69 at a home supply wharehouse. I bought all the accessories here, including the aerator/turner that broke within a week. I had to go out and buy a pitch fork to turn the compost.
