Our No-Fuss Pyramid Composter is Built to Last
Composting is the environmentally friendly way to recycle kitchen scraps and garden waste back into the earth. We’ve used dozens of composters over the years, and have incorporated all the features we like best into our Deluxe Pyramid Composter. The lid is hinged so you can open it with one hand, yet it can’t blow away. Narrow side vents ensure good ventilation. Two sliding doors, front and back, stay open to make removing compost easy. Best of all, the signature self-watering lid lets in the right amount of rainwater for optimum performance. Convenience and large capacity at a great low price!

We added a hardware cloth bottom cut to fit inside. Haven't had a chance to completely fill or aerate.

I love the size for our family of five. We have compostable material on a daily basis, either from the kitchen or from the yard. It has the large opening from the top and is just plain "user-friendly"!

Been composting for 20 years so have gone through many bins. This one has worked fine for us, AFTER we built an internal frame of wood slats, bolted to the plastic, to make it solid enough to actually fill it more than half full. Otherwise, the sides bulged and eventually popped out. Not everybody might want to take the time or have the skills to do this. We did so because we liked many of of the other features, like the hinged lid. We live out in the country so it's important to us that the lid not blow away - we have a couple of bricks on the top of the lid of our other compost bin for that purpose. And yes, the lid will sometimes pop out of its hinges - but it's easy to pop it back on. It is not rodent-proof - so what? Just toss the mice out when you clean it out first time in the spring.

Used this for a couple of years, winter only for kitchen scraps close to the house. Not great, hard to empty. then a squirrel ate its way in through the plastic around the sliding door

I was disappointed with the quality of the plastic material used in the construction of this composter--i.e., thin and extrremely pliable. Frankly speaking, I don't feel the unit was worth the selling price you're asking for the unit.
