We are extremely impressed by this hose winder. After trying several plastic ones available in local garden stores, we decided to spend a little more and try this one. The fittings are top-quality - no water leakage anywhere! It is so nice to turn the hose off at the nozzle and not have water running from every fitting. We would have saved money if we had started here instead of trying everything else first. An excellent value and quality.

The assembly was easy once I realized the bolts were already in place(not mentioned in instructions). It wheels around easily and the hose pulls out and winds up nice and smooth.

I had to coat some spots with clear rustoleom because it was scratched in a few spots and I didn't want it to rust. Oustide of that it's a great hose reel!

Love the easy mobility of rolling this out to the yard. Did not care very much for having to assemble it myself. There were not enough screws and nuts to finish the assembly probably because the box it came in was damaged. Thank heavens for my mini workshop. Overall I'm very pleased with the product. It sure beats the plastic one that was too small and difficult to move in and out of the garage at the end and beginning of the summer. And it looks good too.

We are still trying to put this thing together, and I'm pretty good at assembling things. There are screws missing and the directions are about as convoluted and unclear as you can get. Very frustrating!!!!

No matter what everyone else says about the quality of this cart, it has helped keep my yard so much tidier because it's so easy to whip that hose up and onto the reel. The barrel turns really easily so it's not a pain to spend another 30 seconds do reel the hose in. Yeah, the paint faded and yeah, I gotta pump up the tires, but it's still bright, attractive, and an efficient way to store hoses. I've bought two for each corner of the house.

Would have preferred screws with a phillips head so that they could be tightened more easily. Some of the nuts would not thread onto the screws properly.
Otherwise, I love the look and handling of this hose cart. So much easier than lugging long lengths of hose from one area of the yard to another.
