Purchased two of these covers for odd-shaped chairs that will spend 3 of 4 seasons outside, in New England. My chairs & cushions stay well protected from the elements and it has been non-stop rain here for the last 2 days. Just this morning, I was concerned because the dark brown outside fabric looked soaked, I checked under the covers and my cushions were DRY!
The outside fabric is sturdy and not likely to tear, and the thickness of the PVC lining is definitely the stay dry solution. I like the Velcro ties but they are long and thin so you have to wind them around the legs, the design could have been better but they still do the job. If you live in a hot & humid climate there could be a condensation issue since the fabric does not breath, but for the Northern states these covers were made for rain & snow protection! I'm so happy with these chair covers and wish I could get a matching cover for my patio table & chairs.

Was looking for outdoor chair covers for my odd-shaped bamboo swivel chairs. (Circa 1968-1974) After many measurements and much web-searching I decided to try these covers. Very pleased with the quality & weight of the fabric,and after 2 days of rain my chairs & cushions are still dry. The Velcro ties are a plus in securing the covers! Good price for the quality.
