I put this "Deer Fortress" product out in my garden area in April to protect plants that deer love to munch on after a cold winter. I have favorite plants like day lilies and hostas that survive "deer country" with these easy to use stakes. The deer are beautiful but not when they eat my plants. "Deer Fortress" is both effective and humane and a must in my garden.

My major complaint is that it comes with curved stakes that you have to straighten yourself if you want to stake the product (as opposed to hanging). While the wire bends easily enough, it is next to impossible to make it straight, so I have crooked stakes all over my garden. As far as its effectiveness -- not sure yet because I haven't had them in long enough to be sure.

I was really hoping these deer stations would work to keep the deer away from my garden but it didn't deter them at all.

For years the deer have eaten everything in the winter, holly, rhododendron, azalias, and even the juniper. I've used this product for 2 years now and the deer haven't bothered anything protected.

PLACED IN FLOWER BED AFTER DEER ATE SOME OF THE PLANTS. AFTER INSTALLING THE DEER CAME BACK AND ATE THE REST, DIDN'T KEEP THEM AWAY

Finally! Something that works! I live in a woody area where the deer unashamedly help themselves to my hostas every year. I put a set of these repellants among the hostas in May and DID NOT HAVE ONE DEER near my hostas all summer!! Definitely will reorder for this summer! My only complaint is that they don't really hang from the wire stakes (stakes are too narrow), so I had to do a little bending of them to make them hang. But it was very easy to do!

both deer and rabbits feasted on plants which i wanted to protect, even when product was used more densely than proscribed. Of all repellents I have tried, this was absolutely the least useful.
