Just used it today for the first time, and wow! I love it. I normally have trouble getting up from the ground, but the handles on this kneeler gave me all the support I needed to get up easily. Yay!

I really liked the thought of this dual purpose pad/seat but in using it, I found it very helpful to have the handles in getting up from kneeling. And then pleasant when I'm finished working to turn it over and just sit in my garden. I have used the seat when working too. It is easy to move around.

I wanted a second one of these but saw one at a discount house that was way cheaper so I bought one. BIG MISTAKE...nowhere near as comfortable, it actually hurt my knees instead of cushioning them. I have neuropathy in my feet which makes getting up and down a chore. This makes it simple. I cannot imagine how I gardened without this and hope I never have to again...

As an elderly gardener, I find it difficult to get up and down when weeding. This stool provides me with the assistance and stability I need. It is also handy to sit on while planting in pots on the patio.

I use it on my deck to sit on & garden to help me plant plants & support for getting up. No problem moving it from place to place. I have bought a cheaper one years ago for me & my Dad. When I saw this one I knew I wanted 2 of them, one of each color, but the price & shipping charges kept me from buying. Then there was a great sale, so I bought 2 of them, glad I did, my husband uses one sometimes. I didn't get the thing to attach for the tools & whatever else, but I will soon. I haven't left it out in the rain yet, so don't know how it hold up there. The cheaper one I got years ago he pad is hard & has come apart a lot , keep glueing it on. The thing that isn't so great is the price has gone up a lot, I won't be paying that any time soon. I would like to get it as a gift for my sister & neighbor, but to expensive now. So have another GREAT SALE PLEASE !! Thanks for letting me give you my opinion on this great product.

This is my second gardening seat. The seat on my old one was beginning to sag. It is the smaller version of this one. There are a couple varieties of this seat, and I don't know where I got the old one.
The new seat itself is not any bigger than the old seat. The seating material, however, is the bread layer where the metal cross pieces are the filling of the sandwich, thus providing firm support to the seat. The kneeler material is much, much softer than the old seat. The seat part is the same. However, this seat part is at least 3" higher, the side parts are 2" wider both side to side and front to back as you sit. It is the metal frame which is bigger, and not the cushiony part one sits on. The tubing is a bit beefier. There are no floor protectors on the legs, however, which is something I miss. The metal touches the floor, which could make a difference if you use it inside for low seating when doing things low to the ground like clearing out lower kitchen cabinets.
I like the higher seat and the width of the seat, as that makes it easier for arthritic knees to get up from a seated or kneeling position. My other one lasted for about 10 years, I'm still using it, and this looks to do so too.
