- Beautiful Raised Beds
I bought three sets of these and built my own raised beds using 2x12s. It could not have been easier! These seem to be very well made, and are really pretty. The dimensions of the corners are different for each pattern. The carrot/tomato corners are wider and have many more screws/holes than the fern swirl-patterned corners. They were so easy to use and I had all the beds put in place within an hour.
If you use 2x6s, the points at the bottom of the corners would anchor these in place. However, with the weight of a 2x12, they do not need an anchor and the bottom points make an attractive design on the beds.
On the tomato/carrot corners I had to upgrade the screws, but that was only a few bucks and they kept snapping. This could have been due to the strength of my husbands oversized drill, though. We did not have a problem with the fern design.

We just built a large raised garden, and these corners are not only very durable, but easy to install with the cedar we bought from our local lumberyard. They are gorgeous, and add a nice touch to our project. Now we're stylin' in the garden!
