Misshapen, yellowed cucumbers will be a thing of the past when you use this space-saving trellis to support plants in your garden. The sturdy, powder-coated steel frame supports heavy loads and has big 4" grids for easy harvesting. Lean-to design gives you room to sow salad greens under the trellis for an extra crop before your cukes mature.

Comments about Cucumber Trellises:
This fit perfect in my 3 ft wide garden bed. And the cukes climbed it happily, thus allowing them to hang free so they grew without the curves and yellow spots they got when they were on the ground.
Only thing I would like is if they could be a bit taller. My cukes grew quite a bit longer that the support, but it still helped immensely.
We had very high winds and the support never fell. It did tilt a bit, I believe from the weight on the cukes on one side, but I straightened it out and it did fine the rest of the season.

Comments about Cucumber Trellises:
Sturdy, easy to handle trellis allows me to grow my lettuce crop underneath it . The cucumber plants became an "umbrella" to shield my lettuce from the sun. I was able to extend the growing period for my lettuce crop longer without worrying about bolting. I bought another one to use for my cantelopes next season. My advice-BUY ONE!

I have so far used this for cucumbers but it could be used for almost any vining crop. It's very sturdy and easy to assemble and take down.

Comments about Cucumber Trellises:
These will be perfect to use with my Earth boxes. In the past had trouble supporting my cukes & squash. Will just lean these on the box at the base of the plants and train them to the trellis. No more fighting the vines for harvesting !!!
Comments about Cucumber Trellises:
Worked well for cucumbers & somewhat well for cantelopes although the melons did not grow very big. Will try next year for bigger melons!

Comments about Cucumber Trellises:
These trellises are good for keeping the plants off the ground and I like the fact that you could put plants that like shade underneath them.

Comments about Cucumber Trellises:
Being a beginning veggie grower, I had no real idea how cucumber plants grew, but as soon as I saw the cucumber trellis in your catalogue, I knew I needed one. I didn't even measure the dimensions of my raised bed correctly, but the trellis was versatile enough to fit and to ensure that my plants produced large, healthy hanging cucumbers. Next year I will be ordering many moreproducts from Gardeners Supply Co. and ordering earlier. [...]

Comments about Cucumber Trellises:
This support does what it's supposed to...the cukes hang and grow perfectly shaped. Frankly, when I first installed the trellis, I thought it looked way too small but I planted 3 plants and trained the vines to wrap around the trellis until they reached the top and then cut them off so the vines would begin bearing fruit. Toward the end of the season when the runners were producing fruit, I began to "train" the cukes to hang from the trellis rather than laying on top but other than that, it's maintenance free. I have harvested 15-20 lbs of cukes from three plants for many, many weeks in a row with no end in sight! Buy this.
