Have tried almost every other possible soil mix(purchased at various home garden stores) in the grow bags and nothing compares to the results I get using the kind recommended by Gardens Supply. When GS advertise they developed it, trust me...they must have cause I just did not get the same excellent results using other soils.
Nothing else drains as well either. I do have to water every day during hot weather but my garden gets sun all afternoon.

I planted in old pots using this in some and other potting soil in others and there is an incredible difference. Plants have grown at least twice as big using this. Unbelieveable difference.

One of my tomato plants was broken off at the roots by critters. I stuck the plant into the soil & it rooted & produced lots & lots of tomatoes.

I have been experimenting with a number of the Gardener's Supply offerings. I have 2 raised bed veggie gardens and used this is one of them only. My tomatoes and the marigolds planted with them took off like a shot and outgrew the tomatoes in the other bed, containers and garden. (By the way, I had used the tomato food from GS in all of them)
