This aerator is well made and provides a simple way to turn stacked compost without dismantling the bin or breaking out the shovel. I am much more likely to take the time to regularly turn the compost since I got the aerator. The only drawback is that in flimsy plastic bins the action may stress the container, but this was more of a problem when using a pitchfork or shovel.

I have struggled to get my composting right even as I battle squirrels getting into my composter.
This aerator seemed to be a solution to part of my problems. It was very good at reaching into the bottom of my bin and lifting up the compost. It took a few trys to get the rhythm of how to plunge it in and then get maximum lift. It helped get my compost stirred not shaken.

It is easy on my back and I do not have to bend over to lift heavy compost. I used a pitchfork to do this task in the past but not any more.I also bought one for my son.

I shopped online for compost aerators elsewhere and didn't like the designs or the prices. Found this one and ordered it. Had it put together and working in the compost bin within minutes of receiving it. Works easily and will definitely help me make great compost!

this tool is easy to use,gets the job done.bio bags do get wrapped around the wings but the come off with a shake.gotta love this tool

I am short and small and this really allows me to get my compost aerated without having to use a pitchfork or ask my husband for help! Love it!
