I never received the product. It was sent to Fed ex with 2 shipping labels. No one followed up until after I sent two emails! Finally they discovered it was sent to the wrong address AND now they were out of stock on the item!
Last year I ordered an paid in full for a garden cart that took 45 days to ship.
I am done with Gardners...no more purchases from me.

- Veg Garden Away From Dog
Finally we can grow vegetables! We have 3 dogs so you can't plant anything in the ground so this is the perfect solution! It was easy to put together and fun to plant. We bought the small one which has enough space to plant tomatoes, lettuces, herbs and strawberries. Picked our first lettuce today!

- Limited Mobility Patients
I bought two VegTrugs for my 91 year old mother who resides in a nursing home. She has limited mobility, is nearly blind, but has a better memory than me. She has always been an avid gardener and started our plants in her windowsill. My mother has enjoyed telling me what to plant, when to plant it and how to care for our garden. We harvested the last of the cabbage today and picked the first cucumber. Tomatoes are not far behind and I will need to pull the beets soon. Not only has it been a blessing to my mother, but other residents and family members like to check the vegetables . I see families pulling chair up around the veg trugs to visit rather than stay in their rooms. There are already plans for more veg trugs next year. And more residents getting dirt under their nails!

I love this thing. I use it on my patio for growing herbs and they have absolutely taken off. Very easy to access and water and the liner holds in the soil while allowing for drainage so there is no mess at all! I definitely recommend this product for anyone who has limited space for a garden or just wants something different!

I have two compact veg trugs having just purchased the second one. I started kale and spinach in the fall and both over-wintered well with a covering. The height is easy to use and I can amend the soil each year to rotate vegetables. My only concern is that the coverings are made in China--I prefer products made in the USA.

Pros
- Easy To Reach Plants
- Nice to look at
Cons
- Liner Hangs Unevenly
Best Uses
- Herbs And Flowers At Hand
I have planted several varieties of herbs in the trug, to add to the ones already growing in the same area of the garden.
The height makes it easy to work with the plants, and I can see and enjoy the beauty of each herb easier, as I look from my kitchen window.
The only difficulty now is the black soil liner was not aligned evenly on each side of the trug as we filled the inside with soil. I just roll up and under the extra parts that hang on the outside.
