When raising or lowering the "grow" light the cord connecting the ballast would disconnect. When reconnecting it, it didn't always work. I have purchased a few items from this company and have been disappointed most of the time. Will stick with my local supplier from now on.

The height adjustment was great and easy to use. I did not use it but controlling the second bulb could be useful. I had a heating pad running off the same timer as the light. At first only used heater until leaves then used both. As transplant time approached I stopped using the heater. The timer would be better with on/off switches instead of multiple adjustments. This was my first successful year of seed starting by using the light.
