Comments about Columnar Apples, 2 Trees:
My columnar apple trees arrived in wonderful shape. They were actually in pots and not bare root, so they survived the shipping process very well. They were very healthy trees and had been packed very carefully. I can't wait to see what they do nest year.

Comments about Columnar Apples, 2 Trees:
Based on previous reviews, we were so excited to plant these. They arrived looking extremely healthy and we followed the planting instructions. One the trees took off with healthy bud growth and lush leaves, the other one did nothing. We watched and waited for the other apple tree to do something, but on further inspection we noticed that it was just a dead stick. The other apple tree with leaves was suddenly attacked by pests that ate all of the leaves, despite the pesticide that we sprayed on them. I guess I'll just go to a home improvement store and buy a cheaper bigger apple tree.

Comments about Columnar Apples, 2 Trees:
So far , they have lost their leaves as expected. I have them in medium pots, not sure when or if I'll need to move them to larger pots. They are sitting outside in my 10 sq. ft. bark covered area now. They will get rain this winter, but if it is dry for a long time, should I water them? If I need to move them, I have a dolly, but will have to go up about 10 steps to my deck, for they may be too heavy for me to carry. Any suggestions on pot size per plant height?

We have a townhouse with a small flower/shrub bed next to the house. We planted these up next to the house and will be part of our landscaping decor.

Well packaged and somewhat larger than indicated (which is always a plus). Trees are very healthy! Looking forward to our first apples in the future.

Comments about Columnar Apples, 2 Trees:
I have great expectations for these trees. Of course it's too early to rate the apples, because I just got the trees, but if they are like the other items I have purchased from Gardener's Supply, I have no doubt that they will provide years of beauty and sustenance. Thank you for providing wonderful, useful products for gardeners of all skill levels!

Comments about Columnar Apples, 2 Trees:
I was so impressed with the packaging. I was expecting bareroots in plastic bages. I received a box that had the two trees in containers with moist soil. I just had to dig my holes and plant them. A month later they are still doing great.

Comments about Columnar Apples, 2 Trees:
The trees have been repotted, they withstood a heavy rain in Arizona, and seem to be enjoying our much cooler days and evenings. The leaves are still on the trees and all is well.
