Comments about Colorwave LED Lights:
Not only did they do all the wonderful things that
the blurb said, they also created an optical illusion of red flashes when the lights were green and green flashes when they were red. My
grandchildren were fascinated! WE love these lights!

Comments about Colorwave LED Lights:
I purchased these 12/16/09 at half price. Saw one or two not-so-good reviews and a few saying they were OK. Should have listened to the not-so-good. These lasted all of ten days before failing to dim and switch to alternate color. Now they flicker TERRIBLY and only suddenly switch colors fr red to green & back once in a while.
DO NOT BUY - THIS IS TOTAL JUNK.

Very unique and attractive for display. However, one strand of lights was returned out of three purchased, due to failure to light after two weeks.

These lights are great. My grandchildren never tire of them. I use them with regular LED Lights on the Christmas tree, and the look is beautiful.

Comments about Colorwave LED Lights:
I have wanted these for 3 years and finally broke down and bought some. I am disappointed. My have flashes of red lights that makes your eyes go bonkers when the lights are white and green. It is very distracting. The smooth transition between colors is disturbed by the flashes and ruins the look.

Comments about Colorwave LED Lights:
I didn't have any lights this holiday 2008. I had been searching for the old-fashioned C-9 colorful bulbs, which I didn't find until late in the season, and when I did, I didn't want to pay the asking price. I also came to realize that the filament bulbs come with an added expense each season of replacement bulbs (which, with all the switching to environmentally responsible LEDs, could become difficult to find), not to mention the risk of overheating and fire. So, I passed on the traditional lights. After the holidays, I found these fantstic surprise of innovative light strands, and bought three, as that is the number the description said may be connected end to end. The lamps are similar to a C-7 size. The cord tag does state that this product contains lead, an element known to the state of California to cause birth defects. It recommends hand washing after handling. I might even consider wearing disposable gloves to handle, but I wouldn't let that damper my enthusiasm for these unique lights. I found them on clearance, and they were more expensive than the three other kinds of holiday lights I bought (all on clearance), but for their unique color-changing properties and stated 20-year durability, I do believe I am wise to try them. I think they will be very relaxing to gaze upon, like the fire of a roaring hearth.
