I ordered the Mulch Block for mulching a small garden area on my townhouse patio. As a 64-year-old woman, the Mulch Block was so easy to carry. I just dumped it in my wheelbarrow, added the water, and voila! It gave my back garden area and nice, neat appearance. I plan to order another block for my front garden area.

Really great product. I use it all over my garden. It is very easy to store and carrie around. It has a great color. It will fade after a while. I usually replace mine every year.

I purchased 5 blocks of this stuff to mulch new beds once they were lined with weed barrier.
They were more work to hydrate and expand than I expected and didn't cover as much square footage as I'd anticipated.

The cubes are easier to store than the large bags, but I could have dumped many ready to use bags in a fraction of the time it took to hydrate and break up the cubes of coir mulch and saved money to boot. Most people don't have multiple wheelbarrows so the time involved in any good sized project expands faster than the blocks of mulch.
Maybe they'll hold up better. Time will tell.

After a summer and rainy winter, the mulch around my newly planted perennial bed still looks fresh and bright, has not melted into the dirt as fine bark much often does. It looks as if it will last several seasons.

I recently worked to remulch the majority of my backyard. These blocks made completing the task so much easier...and having them delivered to my doorstep is ideal, instead of having to load them into my car and then haul to the backyard for spreading. The great thing about this is, when the mulch is expanded, it is also wet which helps keep the yard in good order with moisture, even for a drought-resistant landscaping set-up.

This is the best mulch to use in your flower beds or landscaping as it lasts for years and is very easy to use. I purchased one block years ago and was looking online to see where to buy more. Luckily for me it was Gardner's Supply to the rescue and now the rest of my yard looks beautiful.

I garden but often my disability gets in the way.This product is in my weight limit,I can use this and not spend days recouping!! The only drawback to using this mulch often and at depth is the price. I have already recommeded this product to a friend-his flowers are getting mulched too after several years.

Got this for a community garden plot as I wanted to mulch the plot & thought this would be easier to use than dragging bags of mulch. This mulch worked great, plumped up nicely in water, spread on soil evenly. Best of all, looked great & retained its color all summer. I recd. many compliments on it as well as "I didn't know such a product existed" comments. I bought more blocks on sale to use next spring.
