Comments about Coir Bricks, Pack of 10:
I have used 4 of these bricks in my composter. I usually put kitchen scraps and green material from the garden when I clean up plants. My compost tends to be a bit wet and thick but by using these bricks to open things up in there I am seeing more heat and the compost is in better shape now that these are being added to the mix. They also really soak up the water when they are being hydrated from the brick into fluffy matter very quickly. I like the convenience of these little bricks a lot.

The bricks are great - I never seem to have enough brown matter in my composter so I use these bricks. Plus they stack and store easily until I need one.

Added much needed brown to my compost pile. Very happy with product. The packs are individually wrapped and easy to store. Just open one, crumble and add to compost.

I use this as bedding in my worm bin. It holds just enough moisture and makes a great compost. I plan on using coir wherever I used to use peat moss, because it's much more sustainable!

I have not used this product long enough to know how well it works in the composter, but it is easy to use.

Comments about Coir Bricks, Pack of 10:
Easy to store, as the bricks are compacted. However, it takes time and some muscle to mix the brick with water and break it down when you're ready to use it. Thought each brick would make more; not sure it it's just as economical (and easier) to just add peat moss.

Comments about Coir Bricks, Pack of 10:
This stuff is great for using in a compost bin when you are short on carbon-rich material. It is SOOOO much easier than hauling in bulky material. And it is easy to work with. It soaks up the water quickly, and if you use the amount they suggest, it really makes nice, fluffy stuff. The only down side is it's a bit pricey when you are used to using free leaves, etc.!

Definitely better than potting mixes,or peatmoss for rooting cuttings. My Abutilon cuttings rooted faster in the coir than in any other growing medium.
