Comments about Coil Hoses:
In my head I thought it would reach longer, but the hose attachment I have extends it the bit I need to reach the corners of the yard. I love not having to have a hose butler, the coil design contracts the hose up nicely after use.

It was pretty much as advertised.
Would be OK for ourdoor use.
I was looking for a lighter weight that could
be used indoor and on the patio.

Comments about Coil Hoses:
The hose is wonderful. The problem is that there is no way to get replacement parts. Right now the hose does not leak, the wand is fine but the trigger mechanism no longer works. All I need is that part which goes between the hose and the wand but no parts are available, no even the entire wand . Bad practice to sell items that can't be fixed by do it your self fixers.

Comments about Coil Hoses:
The product description did not mention this is a mini-coil hose. I had just gotten the 50' hose and expected it to be the same. It was not.I decided to keep it anyway since it coiled nicely and was lightweight. But after the first use (in the sun for a few hours) it no longer retracts to it's original length - not even close. I didn't have it stretched to maximum length - just about 10 or 12 feet. I'm probably going to send this hose back because it is not worth the [$] it costs since it won't retract. I suppose if you never stretched it out for awhile, this might not have happened. However, what good is a hose if you can't stretch it out for awhile?

Comments about Coil Hoses:
I bought this hose for a small vegetable garden in the hopes that it would be easier to use around all the raised planters. It is very strong and heavy, and was difficult to handle. It got constantly kinked up and I was always having to mess with it. As a replacement for the light duty and inexpensive hose I had before it was a bust. It is strong and hefty though, so It might work for other uses.

Comments about Coil Hoses:
I love the fact that it coils up so darn easy, but gosh, can't they make it longer? It barely goes to 50', and I mean, that's if you really stretch it and it's all tense and wants to spring back at that point. If your garden is any distance further away than about 25', I'd consider buying a different hose.

Comments about Coil Hoses:
Coil hose is used to water flowers and hedge. Recoils by itself ... no winding up needed! Easy and fast to use... In freezing weather needs to be completely drained and stored inside to preserve the hose.
