I have all sizes. I didn't have to dig up the grass to make circles around my trees and since it's summer, who wants to do that. Maybe in the cool fall or early spring, I can go dig around the trees and put mulch - or not, just remove the grass and put the rings back. Oh, just don't let your dog think it's a toy - becomes shredded. I put bricks on mine to hold down, only because I put it on top of grass and until the grass dies back and to keep the dog from grabbing and running away with it.

My husband checked them out after I installed them and pronounced them great. He put more of our mulch (black) on top so they would match the rest of the yard. The only weed we have seen so far, took root in the mulch and was easy to pull out.
I should have bought more, and plan to real soon.

I have purchased two to go around my pear trees. We'll keep watch during the season and if they continue to work well, I will purchase more.

These keep my rose bushes free from grasses and weeks. They let my husband know where NOT to mow around new shrubs!

This covers a nice wide area allowing me to mow easily around my dwarf fruit trees. It is one of the only ones I have found that can cover sucha large area. It is not however as thick as the rubber mulch rings and does not have any landscape fabric backing. I'm not sure how long it will last.
