Only has 1/2 inch clearance above ground. Can see the metal stakes. Doesn't bend easily. Creates a round large circle with no custom design. Below ground is only 3+inches. Doesn't control underground vine trailing.

I love this edging. It does not bend, but you can connect the pieces for right corners. It could be a little wider, however, I do think it will keep the weeds from my lawn out of the garden. It is easy to make a straight border... much easier than roles of edging. It also has stakes that connect to the edging and into the ground to hold it's place. I'm sure this will hold up through the winter. Love it!

This edging maintains a straight line and is still bendable around a curve. Another make I used is hard to install and leaves a wavey upper edge. Another type that is punched into the ground in short sections and made of brittle plastic cracks off when stepped on.
