We had bought some other gnomes that were nicely designed but made of resin which faded over the years and became brittle and broke if knocked over. We bought two of these that we could put out in the garden in the sun.
We put a protected coating over them, but they appear that they will withstand the elements nicely and will likely last much longer than the resin ones.
