Exclusive | Handsome, Long-Lasting Cedar Raised Beds at Factory-Direct Prices

Raised beds are easy to set up, plant and maintain, producing high yields in a compact space with less digging and weeding. And now you'll find just the right size and shape bed for your needs. Use raised beds to grow vegetables, or install the beds along a perimeter to create stunning border gardens. You can even build a pyramid garden by stacking smaller beds atop larger ones.

Each bed includes four industrial-strength aluminum corners; 7-1/4" H x 1" rot-resistant cedar lumber that's been precut to the proper lengths, hardware and instructions. Easy assembly — just slip the boards into the corners and screw them in place. (12' beds use two 6' boards with in-line connectors.) Because we build these raised beds in our Vermont workshop, we’re able to optimize both quality and cost.

  • 4’ x 4' Cedar Raised Bed holds 9 cubic feet or 230 quarts of soil

          Good design

Good design. The corners control the shape and the boards are locked in by two screws on each end. The 3/4 inch cedar boards should be good for the long haul.

Just set the bed up last weekend. It only took about 30 minutes (not counting preparing the base spot), and it went together easily, although I would have preferred outside screws. Now it's filled with soil, garden soil and compost ready to plant.

Normally I build my own raised beds, however, it is not easy to find western red cedar in the east and along with the easy to use connectors, this product is a great alternative.

                Best Uses

I spent [$] of my clients money and expected more. I was not pleased to see that out of two raised beds one had one long side and one end with a smooth planed finish on both sides of the board, not rough like the others. Not critical to performance, but not what you expect when aesthetics matter and you spend good money. Also had no emails confirming the order and some trouble sorting things out even with an order number for customer service. I was not impressed with any part of the experience. On the plus side, the assembly was cake and it was pretty easy to square up the beds before lining and filling. Buyer beware, you might fare better buying local lumber.
