Comments about Cattail Feeders, Set of 3:
I was thrilled to see the cattail feeders in your catalog and ordered a set. When placed for use, the stem is extremely flimsy and does not support the weight of the filled compartment. Also the threading to join the two sections is so minimal that mine have come unscrewed with squirrels and larger birds trying to access the seeds. Had to put a larger tube over it to give it support. Major design flaw took attractiveness away, sorry I gave some as gifts and had to send out my own "repair" kits. Embarrassing.

Comments about Cattail Feeders, Set of 3:
I am always interested in items for the garden which are clean-looking and elegant. I have no use for country kitsch. These are simple and dry the eye easily.

Given as a gift. Very pleased with appearance. Concerned with length of stakes going into the ground - maybe not long enough.

Comments about Cattail Feeders, Set of 3:
Leaves pull loose very easily. One head has all ready popped off.
Squirrel pulled them down somehow and was feasting on the sunflower seeds
For price they were no very sturdy at all

Comments about Cattail Feeders, Set of 3:
I love the look of the feeder, but as noted, it is awkward to fill. Aside from that, my biggest issue was that the leaves were not very sturdy and once a squirrel discovered the feeder (inevitably!), he sat on the leaf and it bent. It is only a matter of time before it breaks off from the greedy squirrels. I've stopped putting seed in it (sadly), but it does look lovely in the garden.

These look great and the birds love it. I have watched many birds pecking at the peanuts we put in them: Downy Woodpeckers, Blue Jays, Hairy Woodpeckers, Chickadees, Nuthatches, Rose Breasted Grosbeak.
