My elderly (16 yrs) cat loves the bed. He was trying to get in the box with it before I even had it unpacked. It is a little small for him and he kind of hangs off the edges, but that doesn't seem to bother him. Like a kid with a security blanket, I don't know how I'm going to get him off it long enough to put it through the wash.

I have 4 cats and the oldest claimed this as his new bed immediately! The cover is removable for easy cleaning, it's very easy to microwave the insert on those cold, winter days. Plus, it was a great value.

Our 5 year old male, Mr. Jones, will not even go near the bed, heated or not. I can't see a reason for it; he's simply not interested, and if I try to put him on it, he's right back off again. Frustrating.
