I lost this early in weeding season and Santa had to replace it so I wouldn't be without next year! I'll be painting the handle orange so it doesn't get lost in bark chips or tossed out w/ the weeds.

I have owned the cape cod weeder in the past. I lost it and couldn't wait to order a new one. It used to be my favorite weeding tool. I was very disappointed with the new one. It is very short, and doesn't really reach under the plants the way the old one did. Considering the very pricey price, I must say that I was not happy and would never recommend it to anyone.

Best weed tool I ever used, particularly for grasses. I automatically pick it up everyt time I go to the yard, and use 10 times to every once for all my other yard hand tools combined. Ive worn out 2 in 35 years of use! Only 1/3 of the blade length was left when I replaced the last one.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

This product rips weeds out by the root very efficiently--even tough ones like plantains. Can be used by scraping roughly across ground or by thrashing straight into plant. With a little practice, I was able to yank out deep dandelion roots within about three seconds. Expensive product, but now that I know what it does--I would have paid more. :)
