This is my second year using a tomato success kit, and the set-up works great. This year, my tomatoes went wild and I needed an extension. Unfortunately, this item was back-ordered, so by the time I got it, I had rigged up a temporary support system. The extension looks useful and sturdy. I'm looking forward to using it next year, so the tomato planter will be more attractive.

Originally ordered just the basic Tomato Success Kit, but mid-way through growing season our tomato plants were 6' high and needed some extra structure. It was easy to add these to the existing tomato cage, and we haven't had any problems with the plants adapting.

unfortunately, I didn't check carefully and thought these extensions would work with my regular tomato cages, and they don't. I didn't realize this until I attempted to attach to the cages. They are a different size and shape. I would like extension that attach to my present cages, rather than having to buy more. They seem durable and attach easily, just not what I needed.

This is a must have product for the tomato success kit! My plants quickly grew taller than the cage that came with the kit, and I had to struggle with towering plants to install the extension. I sure wish I had heeded the advice of others and ordered this product at the time I ordered the kit! :)

I was given a hybrid tomato and Deck Tomato planter as a gift.
It grew to be 7 feet tall. This extension was necessary to support the extra growth . I wasn't sure about getting it at first but the people who gave the gift recommended and i am really glad i purchased

My tomato plant was getting so tall I had to order the extension for it. The cage extension went together easily and the plant has actually out grown it. I love the tomato success planter, I have never had such good luck with tomatoes.

Overall this is the best product I have found for growing tomatoes. I especially like the automatic watering. This allows the plants to be watered for an extended length of time. However, I have a suggestion for the maker. A five sided covered shell would be very helpful in the event of a hail storm. It could easily slip over the cage and afterward, the shell could be folded for storage.
