Instead of using the tomato cage that always topples over and which I have to try and tie to railings etc. to prevent it from falling down and taking the plant with it, this adds 18" to the cage that came with the planter and will be attached to it.
I recommended it to my cousin whose husband is a landscaper.

We have enjoyed the reservoir containers with cages and cage extensions. Our success has been overwhelming and a thrill to watch our tomatoes grow on our deck. We ordered three extension cages recently because you don't offer a cage for containers that we bought without the cages. So we bought three extensions and put them together.

The only thing we find difficult about the cages are the clips to hold them together. They are a bit tough to snap onto the cages.

Have recommended these containers to many of my friends.

Since my tomatoes take illegal steroids when I am away from the garden-they grow like crazy. Everything I have tried in the past to keep them upright has failed & they become ground dwellers.

I had received tomato seedlings from my sister. Variety was in question, but in my new Tomato Success Kit they went. The plants worked hard to produce hands of 'cherry' type tomatoes, as well as grow taller than the cage of the Tomato Success Kit. I ordered the extension which was easy to assemble (needed two people to help 'cage' the plants). The plants exceeded the height of the extension, but with help from 'Talk to a Gardner' at [@], the plants have been discouraged from reaching for the skies and are producing and ripening fabulous fruits!

I bought the tomato growing kit and my plants are thriving and growing so quickly I needed the extension within 4 weeks of planting It snapped on easily and contained my plants for only a short time, my plants are well over 6 feet tall! I definitely will order another!

I purchased the tomato cage extensions for my two tomato success kits & it's a testament to the success of the kits that I needed them at all. Although the extensions are good & do what they're supposed to, it's the fact that my tomatoes are humongous and growing inches practically in front of my eyes that I even needed the extensions. As a matter of fact, I just went out and bought 6' stakes to tie up some of the bigger shoots that can't be contained by the cages. Boy, am I happy with the whole setup!
