    I purchased these items for my butterfly garden. The bottoms fell out after a rainstorm, making these butterfly houses useless as anything other than a decoration.

    It looks nice but had I looked at it closer I would have noticed the
    poor construction, the materials are very bad, fiberboard base with
    metal bottom. Right there weigh is an issue.

      Went to clean out for this season and the bottom had fallen out. Not durable beyond one season. Very disappointed (so are the butterflies). Would not buy again.

          I was so excited to place this near my butterfly bush. But it lasted less than a year, when the bottom fell off. Generally I am very happy with Gardener's Supply's items, but not his one.

          My only complaint on this product, which I really do like, is that the manufacturer of it should use waterproof glue. After a few rainy days, the bottom of the shelter falls off.
