Better described as a Bucket Chair: you sit deep, the edge cuts into the back of your thighs, and your knees are pressed together. I'm 5'4" and my feet can't rest flat on the ground. It does NOT fold flat for storage; it awkwardly compacts into a rectangular shape. No wonder it's discontinued. Shipped in a too-small carton so the hardware gouges its way through the cardboard. When I took it to the post office to return, they said the cheapest shipping would be $19.77, but they couldn't even accept it with the hardware poking out. Lesson learned the hard way: don't buy furniture mail order!

My cat loves this chair - it cradles him perfectly so pretty much this is his chair now. Maybe I will add another one next year. My only suggestion would be canvas covers in neutral colors as well. Basically, it is a great chair and we will use it year-round. The quality is the best I have seen and the cotton canvas versus nylon or other synthetic is a real plus.
