I purchased this butterfly feeder with the packet of nectar several weeks ago. I set it up in my garden (Northern Catskills) immediately among my flowers and flowering shrubs, where many butterflies are active... The only visitors to the nectar feeder so far, have been ants... The butterflies are right there, but just ignore it. I would NOT recommend this to attract butterflies, but it does make a pretty garden accent...

Very pretty, no butterflies yet, wonder if item needs to have red in it. All the butterflies we have now are going to the red flowers, haven't seen any butterflies come close to this feeder. Maybe it is too early to reccomend.
