Comments about Bulb Cages, Set of 2:
I used these cages when I planted tulip bulbs last fall. ALL my bulbs are blooming beautifully. SOOOO sorry to see they are no longer being sold at Gardeners Supply

Comments about Bulb Cages, Set of 2:
I used this product to naturalize my yard. I like the idea that it"s underground, so I don"t have to worry about having to mow around it. I wish this product came in different sizes.

It's really to soon to tell just how effective they will be, but am very excited to have new tulips in the spring.

Comments about Bulb Cages, Set of 2:
Last spring, I was dismayed to discover that local squirrels gorged themselves on my tulips. Planting bulbs in cages seems like to most humane way of preventing it. These cages are spacious and relatively easy to assemble. Though some of the closures were misaligned upon arrival, they were easy to bend into place. I'm looking forward to enjoying my flowers a little longer this coming spring!

So easy to put together plus it keeps critters from eating my tulip bulb. The hard part is digging the hole.

Comments about Bulb Cages, Set of 2:
These cages are very effective at keeping the bulbs away from the critters that are trying to get them. In my area, that includes squirrels, skunks, moles, gophers, mice, and deer. They tried... but gave up.

I was very excited to finally buy a product that would protect my bulbs. What I didn't realize was the cage does not work for smaller rodents, such as voles or mice. The grid allows them to pass through. I managed to lose 120 tulip bulbs even after using the cages. Now looking to add screening inside of the cages for next year. So if squirrels are your only pest, then go for it!

Comments about Bulb Cages, Set of 2:
This is an effective method of protecting bulbs, especially shallowly planted bulbs, from squirrels. However, I had trouble finding 12" square spots to use the cages. 4" and 6" sizes would be great additions!

Comments about Bulb Cages, Set of 2:
The bulb cages didn't snap together as easily as it looked but I was able to get them fairly tight. I can't really judge the effectiveness or durability until spring. I doubt many tulip bubls would survive without these cages.

Finally a product that really works to protect bulbs from being eaten by critters. I would like to see this product in a smaller version as well. It went together easily and looks sturdy enough to last for years. I'm sure it can be dug up and the bulbs replaced but I'm hoping I don't have to do that for a long time. I think the price could be a little lower and doing so would probably increase sales.
