This is the best kitchen countertop compost container ever! The lid fits well; it requires NO charcoal filters; there is no odor; it holds about a week's worth of kitchen scraps and coffee grounds; the handle is comfortable and makes it easy to dump, and it's so easy to clean. Most important is that we don't have to worry if we accidentally bang it at the composter, since it can't break! I would purchase this again without hesitation.

I have had food scraps from onions to banana peels in my compost pail for over two weeks and there is not the slighest hint of an odor. Even when I open it to add something else, I am amazed that there is no foul smelling odor. The pail is also very durable and was the largest size I could find for a kitchen pail. I am extremely pleased with my purchase.

We use this product to put all our fruit and veg. peels into year around and dump in another larger airriated on to compost so it can go back into the garden as fertilizer. IT is easy to clean and is odorless. Love it.

Had it for 4 years, and it's still perfect.I just hated smelly plastic pails. I haven't regretted a penny I spent on it.

I was afraid to start saving kitchen waste because I thought it would smell. My stainless steel compost pail does not smell at all. I don't even know it is there. I fill it up and then empty it into my outdoor composter. My trash weight has lighted considerable. I would recommend it to everyone.

I bought one of these pails for my compost scraps. I later bought a second matching one for scraps destined for the worm bin. They are simple and easy to clean, seem fairly sturdy, and are attractive enough to leave out on the counter.
