Comments about Brushed Stainless Steel Compost Pail:
Well, my "best uses" is self explanatory. I needed something attractive, not too large, and enclosed to hold the daily used litter. I line it with a plastic bag and dispose of it when full. Using the plastic bag isn't great environmentally but the 3 gal. degradable bags are too large for the pail and, therefore, too cumbersome to use. Also- previous compost crocks I used in my kitchen were a problem because the handle repeatedly slipped out of it's hole. That was annoying then and not at all good for this purpose.

Comments about Brushed Stainless Steel Compost Pail:
Love the stainless steel compost bucket. Remains orderless without charcoal if emptied once a day.
Cleans easily. Could be a bit bigger. Needed to replace the "ice bucket" you used to carry when the lid got lost. I liked the ice bucket better-the top was wider and it held more. But do like this bucket and gave one to my mother.

Comments about Brushed Stainless Steel Compost Pail:
I use this in my kitchen everyday, it's great! I put my coffee grounds and eggs shells in it for use with my 100' musk rose hedge. It a great way to incorporate some of my kitchen waste into my landscape. I have a small yard in the city and cannot compost the same ways I used to in the country, but this little item is wonderful, cleans up easily and looks good in my kitchen too! Size is just right! Must have in any ones kitchen.
